His work is inspired by subcultures, music, graffiti, skateboarding, and the chaotic energy of the city. Holden graduated high school online due to skipping class so frequently to paint and skate. Afterwards, he didn’t see the point in art school.

Holden paints obsessively every day. He works on multiple paintings at once, moving back and forth between them. Typically, he paints in fast bursts of energy, gradually building up the surface over time. Primarily working with oil, acrylic, and spray paint on canvas, Holden's forms are reminiscent of LA graffiti. By blending historical art influences with graffiti, Holden aims to shed light on the street culture he deeply admires.
